I am an out-of-network provider. This approach ensures that our time together is focused solely on addressing your mental health needs.

Some insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can reimburse you a partial amount for our visits - this amount can range based on insurance plans but it may be as much as 80%. I can provide a statement of services to help you seek reimbursement with your insurance provider if needed. Please try to call your insurance to determine the details of your out-of-network benefits prior to your consultation. You may use this form to ask your insurance about out-of-network benefits.

At this time I am only offering telehealth visits via HIPAA-compliant software for individuals residing in New York and New Jersey. To protect your privacy, I recommend using a private space and headphones for our sessions.

Initial Evaluation (90 minutes): $750
During this comprehensive session, I will review your medical history, psychiatric history, reproductive history, current symptoms, and other relevant information to develop an appropriate treatment plan with you.

Medication Management (30 minutes): $275
These visits focus on assessing the effectiveness of prescribed medications and making adjustments as needed to optimize your care.

Medication Management + Psychotherapy or Psychotherapy Alone (45 minutes): $400
These sessions provide a combination of therapy and medication management or focus entirely on psychotherapy alone. Psychotherapy visits are usually once a week but may vary on a case by case basis.

Consultation or Second Opinion (Two sessions): $1,000
This option includes two visits, the initial evaluation and one 30-minute follow up visit to discuss treatment options and recommendations. I provide a comprehensive review or second opinion with the option to continue care with me or transition back to your primary provider. I also offer to collaborate with your treatment team for seamless care coordination.

The recommended type and frequency of visits will be determined and discussed during your initial evaluation. I accept payment on a secure platform (stripe) using a credit or debit card, or direct payment via zelle. Payment will be collected at the start of the visit.

Yes. Dr. Veras is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience treating all adult patients.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected costs of your mental health care. This estimate applies to individuals who are uninsured, self-pay, or requesting information about the cost of services.
